MEXICAN 75 – A TEQUILA AND CHAMPAGNE COCKTAIL #drinks #celebration

This Mexican 75 is a tequila and champagne mixed drink that is a turn on the exemplary French 75. It makes an epic mixed drink for times of festivity!

A "Mexican 75" is a tequila curve on the great French 75. Rather than lemon squeeze and gin, you use lime juice and tequila. It is then completed off with a touch of bubbly to give you a light and reviving mixed drink with somewhat of a kick.

Regardless of whether you like your mixed drinks sweet or somewhat salty, don't hesitate to fix the edge of your beverage with either sugar or salt. I like my Mexican 75s like I like my margaritas — with a touch of salt. It is extremely simple to coat the edge of your champagne woodwind. Just take a fourth of a lime, cut a cut in it, and run it around the edge of your woodwind. At that point you can plunge your woodwind in either salt or sugar and it will stick!
